Tonight trail runners will have 3 course options at the 1st of 3 trail races to be held at Ravenna Park in Seattle. There will be trail runs of 4.1 km(2.6 miles), 8.2 km(5.1 miles) and 12.3 km(7.7 miles), all of which use the same course 4.1 km loop. Race day registration and check in will be open from 5:30-6:30 pm at the picnic shelter next to the south parking lot off of 20th Ave NW and NE 58th St. Also on tap tonight is a Dynamic Stretching warm-up that starts at 6:15, the runs begin at 6:45 and the courses close at 8:30. The Ravenna Series is being put on by Northwest Trail Runs who also produce the local XTERRA events and the popular Cougar Mountain Series. The 2nd and 3rd races of this series will be on 5/24 and 6/21.
